With Father's Day right around the corner, I was wondering what everyone will be doing/how will you be celebrating your kiddo's daddy's?

Our girls are actually going to be gone for Father's Day. It's a long story, but they are going on vacation with their grandparents and were supposed to be back the day before, but now it's the day after. SO~ we are celebrating Father's Day this coming friday. My husband is taking the day off and we are gonna start at IHOP (my girls' and hubby's fav restaurant for breakfast!), then off to the lake for some R&R!! A little tubing, swimming, picnicing and lotsa family time! We are SO looking forward to it!!

Who says you hafta celebrate Father's Day on Father's Day!!

My husband is going to get a bit neglected this year.

We recently found out my Dad has stage 4 colon cancer and the prognosis was originally less than a year. He is doing well, however, with a clinical trial and now they say maybe 2-3 years.

In any case, this year especially we are focusing our Father's Day efforts on him.

Oh, I'm sure we'll do something for my husband, especially considering our 8th wedding anniversary is the Friday before Father's Day.

We are going to go to my in laws beach house (husbands parents) and hang out for the weekend in galveston. We have never done this before, and my husbands little brother will probably come too. So it should be fun. I can't wait to go to the beach. When we borrowed their beach house in march for my brothers wedding, the water was still too cold. its like 100 degrees now so im sure it will be much better.
